With the average iPhone game being updated every 6.8 minutes (seemingly), N-Gage has seemed like an oasis of calm in comparison.However, N-Gage games can be updated with new features - it's just Nokia hasn't shouted about it much. Until now. N-Gage shoot-'em-up Space Impact: Kappa Base is getting a new mode called Clan Battle.It'll be tied into the World Battle online mode, which up until now has seen you taking on special levels and uploading your scores to online rankings. Clan Battle will let you set up teams of friends to compete.Besides a special clan leaderboard, there'll also be messaging (both within clans, and to opponents), as well as the ability to replay your top ten performances.It sounds great fun. The question is how existing Space Impact players will get the new version of the game, and whether the update process will involve wiping all their existing scores / progress. Hopefully not.We'll bring you more news when the update goes live, which is expected to be this autumn.

Nokia is all set to steal Apple's iPhone thunder. In a first global launch in India, the world's largest cell phone maker, Nokia has unveiled its 'killer product' N96. Touted to be an iPhone killer, the high-end Nokia N96 has been launched two days before the official launch of Apple iPhone (August 22). Nokia N96 is the successor of Nokia N95. Stumbled upon this site via Merja's Phone report blog, its basically, like youtube, but better, in the respect that this site is aimed at just mobile phone uploads, and more importantly, non compression, so better quality videos, resulting in a more actual reflecting quality of an actual devices video capabilities.

On the Nokia’s web page, Nokia have advertised the N95 8GB. But in the picture it’s actually an N95-1 in a black casing and this looks weird. The D-Pad is also in black which is not usual in the black covers for the N95-1. Maybe Nokia has a N95-1 in black.

Having known about QIK for sometime now, and while considering trying it out at some point, today, after checking out Al Pavannqkana's blog, where he was on a local TV stations news report advertising QIK, and how easy it is to use, I thought what the hell, i will give it a go. Well, i registered, and submitted my first test video in less than a few minutes, thats how easy it is to set up. Recently, the need for space has become immense. Files have become increasingly larger, there are more things to download and so on. Personally, I run out of space on multiple drives all the time. Maybe you are trying to get a file sent to someone, but it’s too large for an attachment on your email. Possibly you want to backup some files to download later or multiple times. That is why there are file hosts.

Whenever we’re asked “when is Firefox going to be released” we endeavor to answer to the best of our abilities, but the truth of the matter is that we’ll only ever ship “when it’s ready”. We have a lot of indicators that help us understand when the product is ready for release: feedback from our pre-release milestones, excitement in the community and the press, availability of compatible Add-Ons, and a large active beta community helping us ensure that the release is compatible with all the various sites on the Internet.

These clones are fast becoming a global problem, and getting closer to the real model, with stocks getting mixed in with genuine N95 handsets, its hard for the seller to be sure what he is selling unless he opens the box, and switches it on, but then he would not be able to sell as new sealed. I will be addressing this problem again with Nokia next week, as I have already been in contact with them regarding clones, and the possible source, which could even open a very big can of worms. This particular N95-2 clone even has an N95-1 detail resulting from *#0000#

Instead of connecting phone to the PC where 3rd party applications decodes and process images captured with a N95's cam he developed an engine capable to process real time image straight on the Nokia N95. The idea is simply brilliant, everything is processed on Nokia N95 there is no need for another device or computer.
